National University (NU) has extended the online application time for 1st Year Degree (Pass Course) admission, 2025-2026 session. If you haven’t applied before, you still have a chance to apply. This article highlight the notice, the new dates, the fee, and what you need to do at each step.

Pay attention to the time, too. The deadline is not midnight, it is 4:00 PM on 29 October. Many students lose their chance by assuming they have the whole day.

The Main Admission Notice for Degree 1st year admission 2025-26

The notice is short, and the main point is that NU has increased the time for online primary applications for the 1st Year Degree (Pass) admission process, 2025-2026 session. The new last date is 29 October 2026, 4:00 PM.

To do this, the college logs in and chooses Application Payment Info (Degree Pass). It downloads the Pay Slip, prints it, and takes it to a Sonali Bank branch. After the deposit, the college keeps the bank receipt.

You don’t have to deal with the Sonali Bank step. But it is worth knowing about, because if the college skips any of these steps, your application can get stuck. So it helps to stay in touch with your college.

The notice doesn’t mention registration fees or other costs after admission. Those come at a later stage and are covered in the main circular and college instructions, so don’t treat any figure you hear from other people as official until you check it there.

How to Apply for NU Degree Pass 2025-2026 (আবেদনের নিয়ম)

Here is the process, following the notice and the usual NU admission routine.

Step 1: Visit the Admission Website

Go to www.nu.ac.bd/admissions. This is the official admission website listed in the notice. Look for the Degree (Pass) section and the application link.

Step 2: Fill Out the Online Form

Complete the primary application form carefully, and do it before 29 October 2026, 4:00 PM. Enter your information exactly as it appears in your documents. A small error can cause trouble later.

Step 3: Print or Save the Form

When you finish, print the form or save the PDF copy. The notice says this copy is required, so don’t skip it.

Step 4: Go to Your College

Submit the form and the BDT 1,000 fee to your chosen college by 01 November 2026. Ask the college which payment method it uses: mobile banking or direct payment. Keep your receipt.

Step 5: Wait for Confirmation

The online application closes on 29 October, and the fee deadline is only three days later, on 1 November. So the real work is to finish both parts quickly.
