Preparation tips for LLB final-year students.

• Begin with the big papers. Law of Crimes and Criminal Procedure, Law of Evidence, and Civil Procedure need plenty of practice, so start early.
• Remember the sections. Many answers in these subjects depend on correct section numbers, so make a quick-revision sheet.
• Write, don’t just read. Solve old questions with a timer, because time runs out fast in a law exam.
• Use the January gap well. You have three weeks before Legal Drafting Professional Ethics, so do not rush it. Practice drafting formats during this time.
• Think about the viva. The oral exam is part of the process, so keep your basic concepts fresh.
• Be early. The exam starts at 9:00 AM, so try to reach the center at least 30 minutes before.
